    Geography

Students will engage with aspects of learning about the world around them through sensory means.  They will engage in sensory activities in their immediate environment and begin to identify where they are and where they are going.  They will also engage in, and be supported to, identify a range of resources from a range of different countries and identify geographical features such as rocks, soil and water etc. Students will be discovering an awareness of where they are and where they are going.  Pupils will identify similar and contrasting locations.  They will discover the weather through discussion.  Pupils will identify their environment and begin to see this as geography through simple maps and symbols.
